In conjunction with , this year the 8M team volunteered their time in giving back to society as well as the environment.


Contributing towards the Grow-Your-Own-Food movement and part of the Singapore’s Government to grow 30% of the country’s nutritional needs by 2030, the team volunteered to help create sustainable gardens by using soil-based urban farming and edible gardening in Singapore.


As a pillar of Singapore’s self-sustainable water supply, keeping our waterways and reservoirs clean is vital to the health of the people and the environment. This group spent half the day cleaning up litter from the Kallang River, with a total of 20 kg of waste collected!


By participating in the Pantry Plenish Program, the team pitched in to pack groceries and distributed this to 140 families in need as well as seniors living alone. Not simply drop and go, they accompanied and spent time to chat and better understand the lives of others in need.

The 8M Charity Raffle is back this year, once again supporting the Halogen Foundation!

The Halogen Foundation focuses on fostering the generations of tomorrow by providing all youths with equal opportunity and uplifting those from the fringes of society through their proven leadership and entrepreneurship programmes.

Last year, they launched the National Young Leaders Fellowship program which recognises and develops outstanding youths aged 15 to 19 years old who are passionate in the things they do, regardless of their academic achievements.

Our incredible community and tenant partners have generously donated
31 amazing prizes, worth over $5,000, that can be won by simply buying a few (or many) raffle tickets – with all proceeds donated to the inspiring
Halogen Foundation.

We are delighted to share that 8M Real Estate is Eco-Office Certified and have received the Elite Award from the Singapore Environment Council! The certification system encourages organisations to adopt a low carbon lifestyle and implement effective environmentally-friendly practices by increasing eco-consciousness among staff, which in turn helps organisations manage waste by reducing the usage of paper, water and electricity.

This includes collecting rainwater and repurposing it to water indoor plants, green tags indicating primary light switches, controlled AC temperature setting, and double-printing set as default printer settings to name a few.

Here at 8M, we continue to find ways to create a more environmentally friendly office and how to further improve our processes within projects as well as our office!

With a rich history dating back to 1910, 269 South Bridge Road was the former home of the first medical hall of Eu Yan Sang, one of the most established traditional Chinese medicine brands in Asia.

Beautifully designed by Alfred Bidwell from Swan & Maclaren, who was also responsible for the design of Raffles Hotel and Victoria Memorial Hall, the property stands out amongst the rest. Its charming, conserved façade, which features intricate ornaments and elaborate details, is reminiscent of Singapore’s early days and a statement of its priceless heritage value.

This is 8M's first Green Mark Platinum certified project and a testament to our commitment to sustainable practices. Part of our work was to restore the original airwells and windows, an amalgamation of two buildings, relocation of vertical stacks for a more open, flexible layout and a new commercial roof deck with breathtaking, unobstructed views of Chinatown.

Congratulations to our Development Management team - Sun Mi Moon, Marc Goh and Maryam Reda for achieving this milestone in transforming 269 South Bridge Road into a Green Mark Platinum conservation building!

This marks our second property in Little India, the first being Wanderlust on Dickson Road.
