Growing up, I was a very rebellious kid! I was always getting into trouble with my parents and up to all sorts of mischief 😈

However, it was in being rebellious that I learnt and grew from my mistakes. Growth is an uncomfortable process and often, a messy one too! But it is ultimately necessary and vital in shaping us into who we are today 💯🙌🏼

With so much to do and so little time, it’s easy to ignore the dreams and goals we once had/still have in exchange for more pragmatic achievements such as our careers 💰👩🏽‍💻

While our careers are undoubtedly important aspects of our lives, we should never lose sight of our true passions and aspirations 💯 After all, the only courage we ever need is the one to follow our dreams! 😃🙌🏼

Major throwback to when Naomi was just a little baby! This was her very first holiday to Iceland at 5+ months 👶🏻✈️

Before I had Naomi, I already knew that it was my responsibility to ensure that my future children would be given as many resources as possible. And this was not just limited to basic necessities, but the relevant financial support to give them a head-start in life💰💯

So, how can you plan for your children financially? Stay tuned for my next IGTV on how I planned for Naomi’s finances with the right strategies and coverage 😃🙌🏼

Parenting certainly isn’t easy, especially when we have 101 other things to accomplish! 😵‍💫

However, we cannot forget that our children are constantly watching our every action and looking up to us! 👶🏻👧🏻

No matter how busy we are, it’s important to always lead by example and be role models in our children’s lives 💯🙌🏼

Often, our happiness may be dependent on how well life goes. Be it a successful career or a wonderful family, these aspects no doubt contribute to our happiness 💯😄

However, when life hits us hard, it’s important to not lose sight of this happiness! Life won’t always be a bed of roses so we must be able to see the good in everything. Only then will we be able to sustain a joyful life 🙌🏼 ✨

Having studied Sociology in NUS, I’ve learnt lots about how societies and people have evolved. From men always assuming superior roles to women in almost every sphere of life, to the many women in power in today’s society, we’ve indeed come a long way! 💯

Female empowerment has always been something I’ve held dearly to my heart for I believe that us, ladies, are capable of doing anything we want 💪🏼

So watch on to find out more about why female empowerment matters and how we can break old-fashioned stereotypes on what a woman should be 🙌🏼🙆🏻‍♀️

Have you ever been told that you’re not good enough? Have your abilities ever been doubted by your peers?

In life, it is inevitable that we will face people who consider us inferior to them. However, it’s crucial to know our own self-worth and have confidence in our own beliefs. After all, it’s our life and nobody else should dictate it for us 💯🙌🏼

Sometimes, it’s easy to forget that our children are little humans whose thoughts and emotions hold as much value as ours! 👧🏻👦🏼

Hence, it’s important that us, parents, cultivate our children(s)’ mindsets in teaching them how to think rather than what to think and to always remember to validate their feelings as well 💯😀
