We all have that one friend who avoids talking about money like it’s a topic best left untouched.
For me, that friend became one of my clients—and working with her has been one of the most rewarding experiences!
When we first started, she admitted, “I’m really not the kind of person who thinks about this stuff.”
Budgets felt overwhelming, and financial planning seemed like a distant concept.
But we took things slow.
No pressure, no judgment—just small, simple steps.
Over time, I’ve seen her become more open-minded about her finances.
She’s started asking questions,
learning the basics,
and taking small, meaningful actions to build a more secure future.
She’ll be the first to tell you she’s not there yet, but even these small shifts are worth celebrating!
Seeing her confidence grow bit by bit has reminded me of why I love what I do.
To anyone who feels like an “avoider” when it comes to money:
Taking the first step—no matter how small—can make all the difference. You don’t have to figure it all out at once.
And to my friend:
Thank you for trusting me to guide you on this journey. I’m so proud of how far you’ve come, and I can’t wait to see what’s next. 🥰
