Leaders who Dare - Singapore Pipe Band Championships 2026
After months of hard work, dedication and intensive practice, a total of 10 students and 1 alumnus proudly represented the school at the Singapore Pipe Band Championships on 3 June 2026 held at St Joesph’s Institution.
The students demonstrated resilience, discipline and teamwork throughout their preparation, dedicating themselves to improving both their individual skills and ensemble performance. Their efforts were rewarded with several outstanding individual achievements and a strong showing in the Singapore Pipe Band Championships.
We are proud to share the achievements of our students:

Band Achievement
* Northland Secondary School Pipe Band – 4th Place in the Band Championships (out of 8 bands who have participated)
This year's result is particularly meaningful as it marks the band's return to the Band Championships after a two-year hiatus. Competing against experienced bands, our students delivered a commendable performance and narrowly missed a podium finish by just one point.
Regardless of the final rankings, every participant represented Northland with pride, resilience and sportsmanship. We are incredibly proud of their commitment, growth and determination throughout this journey.
We would like to congratulate all participants for representing the school with pride and thank our instructors, teachers, alumni and supporters for their invaluable guidance and encouragement.
