𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚'𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐩 𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐲. Many people initially set out to create the next Facebook or E-commerce ventures, copying the successful American companies' business strategies with some India-specific customizations. Many of the unicorns we have today were born as a result of this.
Even in 2019, most companies in India continued to serve the country's 20% rich and upper-middle-class people, with the majority of startups still being a metro phenomenon. Since their issues are very different, the remaining 80% of the population, which is our Bharat, is still underserved.

The Bharat problem, however, cannot be addressed by startups alone. Because they have democratized access to capital and useful skills, nations like Sweden and Germany have strong startup ecosystems, that India struggles to have. 𝑭𝒐𝒓 𝑰𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒂, 𝒊𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒄𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝒕𝒐 𝒅𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒄𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒛𝒆 𝒂𝒄𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒃𝒚 𝒔𝒖𝒑𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒖𝒓𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒆 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒇𝒂𝒄𝒆𝒕𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒔𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒕𝒚. ✊
