It stopped me and I snapped the shot.
There's a version of this that's obvious in hindsight.
There usually is.
The work is in seeing it before it becomes obvious.
The insight wasn't complex.
But it required standing in the right place, at the right time, paying the right kind of attention.
In value adding, the pattern is consistent:
The people who endure are not the ones who reacted the fastest.
They are the ones who had already decided — before the test — what they would and would not do.
