Just wrapped up a call with a client and I can't stop thinking about what he shared with me.
He made a decision about a year ago that he's now deeply regretting.
Here's what happened:
A close friend gave him some investment advice. "Switch to ETFs," the friend said. "Lower fees, better returns."
It sounded logical. So he did it.
He cancelled his investment plan—the one with bonuses, the one with professional management, the one that was actually designed for his goals.
Within 3 months, he was losing money. Worse than that, he was stressed. Every time the market dipped, he felt that pain in his stomach.
He called me last week to talk about switching back.
And here's what I realized: His friend's strategy wasn't HIS strategy.
Not because his friend was wrong. ETFs are actually fantastic for some people.
But they weren't right for him. He needed structure. He needed protection. He needed guidance.
This is why I created my Investment Suitability Guide.
It's not about pushing one investment over another. It's about helping you understand YOUR situation and what actually works for YOUR goals.
The guide breaks down:
- ILP (bonuses, protection, professional management)
- ETFs (low fees, flexibility, self-management)
- Unit Trusts (professional management, moderate fees)
- Stocks (high risk, high reward, expert-only)
If you're thinking about investing or reconsidering your current strategy, I want to make sure you're making the right choice for YOU.
Message me with "guide" and I'll send it over. It takes 5 minutes to read and could save you years of regret.
Looking forward to helping you find the right path.
