Just wrapped up a call with a client and I can't stop thinking about what he shared with me.

He made a decision about a year ago that he's now deeply regretting.

Here's what happened:

A close friend gave him some investment advice. "Switch to ETFs," the friend said. "Lower fees, better returns."

It sounded logical. So he did it.

He cancelled his investment plan—the one with bonuses, the one with professional management, the one that was actually designed for his goals.

Within 3 months, he was losing money. Worse than that, he was stressed. Every time the market dipped, he felt that pain in his stomach.

He called me last week to talk about switching back.

And here's what I realized: His friend's strategy wasn't HIS strategy.

Not because his friend was wrong. ETFs are actually fantastic for some people.

But they weren't right for him. He needed structure. He needed protection. He needed guidance.

This is why I created my Investment Suitability Guide.

It's not about pushing one investment over another. It's about helping you understand YOUR situation and what actually works for YOUR goals.

The guide breaks down:
- ILP (bonuses, protection, professional management)
- ETFs (low fees, flexibility, self-management)
- Unit Trusts (professional management, moderate fees)
- Stocks (high risk, high reward, expert-only)

If you're thinking about investing or reconsidering your current strategy, I want to make sure you're making the right choice for YOU.

Message me with "guide" and I'll send it over. It takes 5 minutes to read and could save you years of regret.

Looking forward to helping you find the right path.

Most people think investing is gambling 🎲

50% up. 50% down.

But here’s what history shows 👇
📈 Long-term investing goes up about 91% of the time.

That’s why investing isn’t about timing the market,
it’s about time in the market.

The goal isn’t just more money 💰
It’s letting money work for you,
so you don’t have to work forever for money.

Agree?
Or do you still see investing as gambling?

I often use this example to explain to my clients why starting early matters.

Susan invests $2,000 a year for 8 years.
Kim invests the same $2,000 a year every year, but starts 8 years later.

Most people expect Kim to catch up.
But Susan ends up with more.

The lesson isn’t about investing big.
It’s about starting early, even if it’s small.

15/01/2026

People often ask why starting early matters.
Here’s a simple way I explain it.

Assuming you start investing at 25yo, delaying just one year can mean about $82,000 less by age 60.

That’s roughly $230 lost for every day you wait.

It’s not about fear.
It’s just how time works.

06/01/2026

I ask this question a lot.

Money or time?
Money lost can be earned back.
Time lost… doesn’t come back.

That’s why the people who build real wealth don’t just chase money, they protect their time.

03/01/2026

I made a big investing mistake early on.

I chased returns, went all in at the wrong time, and watched my portfolio drop 50%

It took me 5 years just to break even.

This experience taught me something most people don’t learn until it’s too late:
👉 Investing isn’t about chasing what’s hot
👉 It’s about starting early, staying disciplined, and giving time a chance to work

The market rewards patience more than prediction.

If you’re investing (or thinking about it), let this be a reminder:
Slow and boring beats fast and emotional.

Last week, I was invited to a wedding by one of my best clients and friends and it was simply an eye opening experience.

I have been to quite a number of weddings in the past, and this I must say was one of the most unique.

Yes, it's probably the one and only Charlie and the Chocolate Factory themed wedding ever, but what made it so special was the amount of positive energy I felt in the room.

Almost each and every single one of SJ's friends and family members radiated joy, love and kindness.

This speaks volumes of her character, who never fails to see the positivity in almost every negative situation.

It's no wonder she is the Head of numerous boards and companies, such as being part of the Governing Council Member of the Singapore Kindness Movement, President of the Library Association of Singapore, Head of Learning and Knowledge Curation in SIM, amongst many others concurrently.

Her loving husband had also a really successful career too as a U.S Military Vet and having worked along side NASA in the past.

Yet the both of them, including all their family members and friends who are all quite high flyers in their respective careers showed incredible amounts of humility and kindness.

I'm proud to have her as one of my best clients and friends who not only trusted me with a 6 figure investment portfolio, but also referred many of her friends to me because she wants them to live better lives for themselves and their families. 😊

She is indeed a leader with a spirit of a lion in her life and the lives of her community.

Wishing you two a lifetime of love and happiness 😊❤️

Before I met Caleb, I was just a lost financial advisor trying to post whatever I had in mind trying to get likes and views..

After I met Caleb, my business sky rocketed all because he taught me 1 key important thing, and that is to value people.

After 3 long years, this marks the end of our Coaching sessions!

Caleb has been instrumental to my social media journey throughout the past 3 years.

Caleb didn't just shared with me some trendy social media techniques but more importantly how to truly connect with my audience.

He reminded me that there are real humans with emotions behind these numbers of likes and followers.

He taught me how important it was to focus on impacting people at a much deeper level.

He taught me how important it was to have a vision, mission, belief, values and purpose I need to stand for as well as a positive message I truly believe in and need people to hear.

Ever since I met him as his first coachee, his business has grown leaps and bounds too, from being a 1 man video team for his clients to now serving Affluent to HNW clients and professionals at the top of their industry with their brand.

He has helped me moved my market higher too and more importantly helped me see the importance of improving and differentiating my level of service.

He is a true definition of a leader with the spirit of a lion. Focused on taking charge of his own financial life while helping others along the way to improve theirs.

He leads his life, his business and his clients with pride, passion and power. 💪

Thank you Caleb for all your help! 😁

Belated CNY day 2 post!

Decided to have some family lunch together at PS Cafe!

Festive seasons are a great reminder to us that no matter how busy we are striving to achieve the goals we set for ourselves, we should never forget to make time for our loved ones. 😊

As leaders of our lives, it's my personal belief that no area of our lives should be left unintentionally neglected unless it's by your own choice.

Stay safe everyone, wishing you good health, wealth and prosperity in all areas of your life! 😊

With the recent volatility in the market, our emotions can get the best of us.

And that's precisely why many investors I know off have lost money during volatile times.

Those who win during this period of time are those who can't be bothered about the short term volatility of the market, they don't even read the news or know what's happening in the market.

All they do is stay invested in diversified investments, have a long term view and simply carry on living their lives. 🙂

Be a leader of your own emotions, learn to manage them and you'll learn to manage your money better too. 😊
