8th Waning Moon of the 7th Lunar Month (Atthami Bucha Day) – 8 June 2026
Life is precious, and our time in this world is limited.
None of us knows what tomorrow will bring.
If something is causing you stress, try to let it go.
If someone has hurt you, forgive them when you are ready.
If a painful memory can be released, allow it to pass.
The more we hold on to anger, resentment, and disappointment, the heavier our hearts become.
Choose peace over bitterness, compassion over hatred, and understanding over judgment.
A peaceful heart is a true blessing.

🙏 Atthami Bucha Day (วันอัฐมีบูชา) 🙏
Atthami Bucha is an important Buddhist observance that commemorates the cremation ceremony of the Lord Buddha's physical body, held on the eighth day after His attainment of Parinibbāna (final passing away).
The word "Atthami" means "the eighth day", marking the day when kings, nobles, monks, and devotees gathered to pay their final respects before the Buddha's sacred relics were enshrined and distributed for veneration.
This day serves as a profound reminder of one of the Buddha's core teachings — impermanence (Anicca).
No matter how powerful, wealthy, or accomplished we may be, all things in life are subject to change. Our time in this world is limited, and every moment should be cherished and used wisely.
On Atthami Bucha Day, Buddhists reflect upon:
✨ The impermanent nature of life
✨ The importance of cultivating virtue and wisdom
✨ Forgiveness and letting go of resentment
✨ Practicing kindness and compassion towards others
✨ Living mindfully while we still have the opportunity
As we remember the Buddha's final journey, may we be inspired to let go of unnecessary worries, forgive those who have wronged us, and focus on creating goodness in our daily lives.
"Holding onto anger is like carrying a heavy burden. Letting go brings peace to the heart."
May the merits of this sacred day bring peace, wisdom, good health, and happiness to you and your loved ones.
🙏 Happy Atthami Bucha Day 🙏
