What Type Of Assets Should You Invest In? 🏠💵🏦🤔⠀
As you can tell, property only takes up 40%. While property is a good asset to hold, it is difficult to be liquidated when it comes to an emergency situation when you need money. That is why I suggest you hold more liquid assets like bonds & commodities. ⠀
These are assets that rise with the market growth and can be easily liquidated when an emergency arises. Remember, it’s important to have cash but not too much. Having cash on hand makes you feel safe, but when you have too much; you lose its value because of high inflation rate. That is why it is always suggested that you hold enough cash for the next 6-9 months worth of living expenses for emergency purpose. I actually covered ‘emergency fund’ and also the 'ABCD investment strategy' in one of my YouTube videos . Anything more than that is unnecessary in my opinion. ⠀
*Depending on your financial situation, 5-7% is the amount that you should hold as liquid cash or 6-9 months worth of your expenses whichever holds more value. 💯
