Virtus Associates Wednesday Sports ⚽️🏀🏈

Q: Why do we infuse a weekly sports activity within our work schedule?

A: As a team, it’s important that we learn to work together. Team sports is one of the best way for a us to bond and learn about one another. This has been an activity that we have conducted consistently since the early years (less the Covid disruptions). Apart from team building, it also encourages healthy living though regular exercise!

Life is always full of challenges, and may sometime appear unfair.

I remembering having this conversation with a friend who climbed Mt Rinjani with me two years ago. We were up 3000ft on Rinjani discussing about life choices and decisions. And we both came to a conclusion that in life there is no “best decisions”, you simply have to make the best out of every decision made.

Play the hand well, don’t worry on the cards!

Chanced upon old article that i was featured in and this brought back so much memories. A short 7 years ago, i decided that i was sick and tired of the civil servant corporate life style. So I mustered all my courage and made a Huge Change. Yes changes are always tough in the beginning but it’s necessary for growth. And YES i would highly encourage anyone who haven’t found purpose and joy in what they do, to simply embrace change and take action!
