"STAR ISLAND SINGAPORE Countdown Edition 2022-2023" presented by JCB was held in Singapore with great success! Approximately 500,000 spectators were treated to a dazzling display involving Hanabi (Japanese handcrafted fireworks), laser shows and drones, which illuminated the iconic Marina Bay skyline.

It was truly our honour that the event brought joy and excitement to everyone, as the world emerges from almost three long years of pandemic. The event represents JCB’s hope that 2022 will transition to a new and even more promising 2023. Just as the fireworks illuminated the night sky, we wish that 2023 will be a bright year for everyone!

Come visit the ‘Prequel to STAR ISLAND’ event held at the Bay Sands Event Plaza from 25 to 30 December 2022. The event is open to everyone for free and includes a myriad of family-friendly activities. There is a Sanrio Character store, F&B offerings, and JCB’s air-conditioned pop-up booth at the event. Explore the newly completed Phase 1 of the Round Island Route (RIR)!

Phase 1 comprises a 75km-long route and covers the eastern part of Singapore, including the northeast corridor where you can look forward to picturesque features such as the Sengkang Riverside Bridge.

When completed, the RIR will be the longest recreational connection stretching across 150km that covers the coastal area of Singapore in one continuous route.

Getting to the RIR is simple. Access from 6 parks which includes Sengkang Riverside Park and Pasir Ris Park. Visit bit.ly/NParks-RIR for more details on the park connectors.
