Swedish Business Week

Swedish Business Week An opportunity for Swedish and Palestinan industry to network and connect. An economy under strong development and with a high potential.

Swedish Business Week is an excellent way to get in touch with the local Palestinian economy. There will be a lot of significant investments in the area and we want to contribute to Sweden being present in the area. In addition to traditional investments in infrastructure, there is also strong opportunities in other areas such as IT outsourcing, packaging and pharmaceutical industry. During a few

intense days, we will visit industries, organizations and business people to get a feeling for the ongoing development of the Palestinian economy. During the exhibition participants will have the opportunity to meet local businesses who hungers to enter into agreements with the Swedish industry. The exhibition is open to the public but with the help of the local chambers of commerce, we will attract participants well-matched with the exhibitors. The exhibition will be held in The Muntazah exhibition halls, a very suitable hall with everything close at hand in the center of Ramallah. It will be open to the public but will especially attract businesses and visitors matched with the exhibiting companies.

This gleaming hi-tech city is rising, with homes for 40,000 residents, cinemas, shopping malls, schools, landscaped walkways, office blocks, a conference centre, restaurants and cafes. Rawabi, the first Palestinian planned city, is the largest private sector project ever carried out in Palestine. Building this new city will create between 8,000 to 10,000 jobs during the construction phase for professionals and skilled craftsman. After completion, Rawabi’s businesses will generate between 3,000 and 5,000 permanent jobs.
