Hi! We just got feedback from a parent after speaking with the teacher:
"Spoke to the teacher this evening and asked how she felt AV1 has been going (as she is the teacher who’s been working with AV1).
I could have cried as she said AV1 has helped my daughter to be more confident with her peers. She comes into class now and is chatting more with them, whereas before she wouldn’t. She said AV1 has removed her from isolation, given her a sense of normality when she doesn’t have normality. She said this has been the best impact she has seen and she’s so pleased that AV1 has allowed her to access her education. However, I must say, the social side has been the biggest achievement.
Thank you all. This is a child who does attend school, but I didn’t realize she felt so isolated. She has a group of friends, but now, thanks to the little AV1, her group has grown and so has she (first time in 7 years). M.E. tried to take that away from her but AV1 got her back. "
