We’ve been testing a small GPT-based assistant at AICB. Not as a chatbot experiment but to explore one thing: Can budgeting be something people “use while making decisions”, not just something they review afterward?

The focus is simple:

🔸Budgeting should help decisions, not just track numbers
🔸It should live in everyday work, not only in planning cycles
🔸It should make trade-offs visible when they actually happen

So we built a very lightweight assistant around that way of thinking. It doesn’t build budgets for you. It doesn’t give “answers”, but it helps you:

🔸Think through a situation
🔸Spot where structure is missing
🔸Frame decisions a bit more clearly

More like a thinking partner than a tool.

It’s early, and intentionally simple. If you try it and it feels off, confusing, or useless, that’s exactly the kind of feedback we’re looking for.

🌟Curious to hear where it helps, and where it doesn’t

🧐 The Agility Paradox: Where do high-growth companies actually fail?

What we know is that it’s often not in innovation; it’s in ex*****on. While the world demands agility, many growing companies are still managing their entire future with last year’s spreadsheets. This creates a massive Efficiency Gap.

Analysts estimate that over half of SMEs still rely on manual methods for critical financial planning, forcing leaders to spend valuable time reconciling data rather than executing strategy.

💫💥 For us at AICB, budget is meant to be a dynamic leadership tool—a living roadmap for growth. Curious to know more? Attend our monthly online events!

🤝To the fintech investors, VCs, and angel groups following the Swedish/Nordic ecosystem: if you are actively seeking opportunities in leadership-driven fintech start-up we should connect.

👩🏻‍💻Is budgeting an annual burden or a strategic asset? For too many companies, it’s the former, and that’s a leadership problem, not a finance one.

👉Budgeting as Leadership:

At its core, budgeting is the process of connecting planning, control, and prioritization. When these three core tasks are handled manually or separately, which is still common globally, the process becomes slow, inaccurate, and frustrating for managers at every level.

🫣The reality is stark:
while the world demands real-time data, many organizations still rely on manual, disconnected systems (like spreadsheets) for these critical functions.

As the result there is a global inefficiency gap. A significant percentage of small and medium-sized organizations struggle with this. Analysts estimate that over half of SMEs still manage forecasting and budget reviews primarily through manual methods, and forcing leaders to waste valuable time reconciling data rather than acting on it.

At AICB, our budgeting app is a leadership tool for empowerment and clarity. We tackle this global inefficiency by bringing the planning, control, and prioritization steps together into one structured, automated flow.

This shifts the focus from paperwork and delay to smarter decision-making, turning the budget from a static annual document into a living, intelligent process that supports growth.

🚀💥We recently hosted an intimate leadership roundtable on Strategic Budgeting at our office.

What an insightful session!

A huge thank you to Deborah Lygonis, the main speaker of the event, our investor, Leon Rasiszade, and our CEO Hani Omidi

💫In this session, Hani shared the AICB vision, which centers on three core principles for every leader:

👉Budgeting is a Leadership Process: It’s a structured flow of decisions that connects every organizational level, empowering teams to plan and act within clear boundaries.

👉Focus on Empowerment & Growth: Budgeting’s true purpose is enabling smarter decisions and prioritizing resources for growth, shifting focus from limitation to strategic empowerment.

👉Technology as a Strategic Enabler: The future of budgeting lies in automating the flow and providing real-time insight, turning it into a living, intelligent process that supports sustained growth and alignment.

🙏 A sincere thank you to everyone who joined us for a high-caliber discussion.

AICB CEO:

”Our MVP is now ready, and we’re taking the next steps in our journey.

As we continue forward, we’re also preparing the foundation for bringing AICB to the market — including important conversations with investors and fintech experts that will help us accelerate our vision.

Budgeting is something every organization deals with… but it’s rarely simple.
Too much time is spent chasing numbers, approvals move too slowly, and there is a lack of clarity when decisions are finally made.

At AICB, we have a bottom-up, automated approach that saves time and reduces complexity, while giving leaders a much clearer view. At the same time, people in the company feel included in decision-making.

🤩 This is the vision we are working toward, exciting times ahead, and we’re just getting started.

🧐 how does budgeting work in your company?
What are the biggest challenges you face — and how do you address them today?”
