Representing MTI Investment Hub, we had the honor of participating in the Dutch Ambassador Roundtable organized by Tanzania Hubs Network at Ennovate Ventures.
The session showcased exciting opportunities from the Netherlands Embassy for innovation hubs like Africulture, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and innovation in Tanzania.

It was an excellent platform to share MTI's vision for current programs and future activities, unlocking the potential of Tanzania's innovation ecosystem.

🌊 On November 9th, MTI Investment AB hosted the Elevate Blue Innovation Challenge in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania— an event that brought together innovators and entrepreneurs with solutions in the Blue Economy and marine litter sectors.

We proudly hosted 68 passionate entrepreneurs from across Tanzania, including Dar es Salaam, Mbeya, Mtwara, Mwanza, Arusha, Pwani, Mara, Njombe & Zanzibar. They came together to bring fresh perspectives to marine and environmental challenges.

Led by Jerry Mang’ena, our trainer for the day, participants explored real-life business opportunities in the Blue Economy, from Seaweed and Aquaculture to Marine Conservation. The hands-on sessions included creating Business Model Canvases and developing value propositions across Waste Management subsectors, from plastic management to upcycling and organic and E-waste solutions.

Be on the lookout! We will soon be inviting select entrepreneurs to join our upcoming incubation program, where they’ll have the opportunity to nurture and scale their ideas.🌱

Together, we’re breaking new ground in the Blue Economy, working towards a sustainable future for Tanzania’s marine health and environment! 💙
