It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anthony Anis Haggar. It is a profound loss for the entire Haggar Group and Family, for Sudan, as well as for the countless lives he touched beyond our Group.
For the past three years, Anthony fought a courageous battle against cancer, demonstrating steady strength, resilience, and optimism throughout his journey. Despite the challenges he faced, his dedication to the Group and its mission never wavered. He continued to inspire us all with his vision, leadership, and firm commitment to excellence and his dedication to Sudan and its welfare never wavered.
To all of us, Anthony was more than just a CEO. He was our leader, mentor, friend and a guiding soul. His passion for our various operations, coupled with his genuine care for each member of our team, created a culture of inclusivity, and collaboration that will forever be his legacy. His dedication to the development of Sudan and its people has touched the lives of many and inspired us all.
During this time of mourning, let us also celebrate the incredible life he lived and the profound impact he had on each of us personally and professionally. Let us honour his memory by upholding the values and principles he held dear, by continuing to strive for excellence in everything we do, and by supporting one another as we navigate this difficult time.
