TMS’s Transportation and Climate Change conference at Saadiyat Rotana Resort in Abu Dhabi, on September 27th, 2023, served as a meaningful platform for insightful discussions on transitioning the maritime industry towards greener practices, and IPANDI was honored to contribute to this important cause.
Distinguished speakers and panelists, including industry leaders like Mr. Sanjay Mehta, Chairman of S One Capital, shared their wisdom regarding impactful decarbonization. Mehta's emphasis on the pivotal capacity of insurance companies, such as IPANDI, in driving eco-conscious changes in the industry resonated with our commitment to sustainability.
During the conference, interesting tangents like the self-assessment of companies' green contributions were touched upon during an interaction with Mr. James Frew from Lloyd’s Register. Thought-provoking panel discussions were complemented by powerful speeches from notable personalities that gave valuable insights. Both Mehta and Frew shared influential thoughts, asserting the necessity of mutual efforts for the betterment of environmental conditions and the significance of industry alterations.
