Our Mission 💫

This society was initiated by our esteemed team, the PPA of SLISJ to bring back the light that our society is very much in need of, to mend our hearts to live a righteous and successful life Bi'dnillah! ❤‍🩹

Seek Light aims at producing a generation of grounded Muslims that can carry Islam and bring it to life according to the Quran and Sunnah.

We also aim to create opportunities for the students which will help them express their talents, build skills and create bonds with each other as well as learn about our Beautiful Religion Insha'Allah! 💪🏻

🧩 Behind our Logo

The name ٱلتمسوا نورا was derived from the Qur'an which was originally فٱلتمسوا نورا and, it means Seek Light.💡

Allah عزٌ وجل says in the Qur'an that He is the light of the heavens and the earth and He only guides to His light those whom He wills.

But where do we find this Light?

It is in those places where Allah's name is mentioned and exalted in the mornings and evenings.🕌
It is for those people whose hearts and eyes fear Allah, making Him their first priority without being carried way by the pleasures of this life.

The little fairy lights in the bulb symbolises each individual's power and ability to contribute to the cause of Islam which will help create a glowing, powerful torch as we all come together to revive and illuminate our Ummah. 🖤

Seek Light is an Islamic platform run by the alumni of SLISJ who have come together to work for the Sake of Allah and help with the upbringing of the youth in a principled Islamic manner and in guiding them to the right path by spreading the true message of Islam.⁣

Seek Light also aims to create opportunities for the students which will help them express their talents, build skills and create bonds with each other as well as learn about our Beautiful Religion. ⁣

We ask Allah to bless this initiative and make this a means for us to earn both in this world and the herafter. ⁣
