Today we mark our last day of the event in Bucharest with a visit to the EFdeN Sustainable City, a place where some of the best practices in terms of sustainable buildings and cities can be explored!

The exhibition, consisting mainly of buildings that have been constructed by for the Solar Decathlon competition, is not only a place where insights on solutions and can be found, but it is the place where many young people, many volunteers, under the coordination of , expressed their love for our Planet with great , while providing everyone with examples of how different solutions can be put together in order to facilitate a truly sustainable built environment, through the ambition of a really good team! We encourage everyone, whenever there is an opportunity, to visit this amazing place!

Sustainable City is hosted by Facultatea de Inginerie a Instalatiilor in Bucharest, located on Pache Protopopescu 66 Bd.

We take again the opportunity to congratulate EFdeN for their amazing work & results and we thank them for their availability to welcome our visitors from Poland today.

This week, Asociatia Cluster Pro-nZEB is hosting in Bucharest a 5 days for 17 polish organizations (clusters & SMEs / companies) - all made possible with the support of Polski Klaster Budowlany and Centrum Badań i Innowacji Pro-Akademia.

Yesterday, some quite fruitful meetings took place at the Polish Embassy / Polish Investment and Trade Agency.

Today, the visiting organizations met with pRO-nZEB & INCD URBAN-INCERC representatives at the The Building Knowledge HUB Romania - the main discussions were on energy efficiency in buildings and market investment possibilities in Romania, especially in the renewables sector.

The activities will continue for 3 more days, with a focus on good practices in circular economy, sustainability and much more.

The SMART4NZEB consortium will organize, under the ClusterXchange programme, another session of exchanges in Slovenia, between the 3rd and 7th of October 2022.

Participants will have the opportunity to meet with local stakeholders at the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, visit two institutes for buildings & civil engineering (ZRMK, ZAG), one agency focused on obtaining regional energy self-sufficiency, and a trade fair (Home Fair+) where more than 100 exhibitors are expected.

The event is meant to support a better regional collaboration between organisations active in the construction, energy efficiency and energy from renewable sources sectors, while focusing on upskilling and exchange of experience and knowledge!

Organisations from Poland, Romania and Serbia may benefit of a 720 EUR lump-sum as financial support meant to cover some of the expenses related to their participation in the 5 days ClusterXchange session.

Big opportunity for , , and Scaling up Organisations (technology centers, research institutes, fab labs, innovation hubs, creative hubs, resource-efficiency service providers, incubators and accelerators) - with an interest in , , , , , , , , , - from Poland, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia to better with each other & and , via the scheme (European Strategic Cluster Partnerships for Excellence, ), in four physical events that are taking place in 2022:

Poland - 23-27 May, organized by Centrum Badań i Innowacji Pro-Akademia & Polski Klaster Budowlany

Slovenia - 06-10 June, organized by Slovenski Gradbeni Grozd

Serbia - 21-23 June, organized by Construction Cluster Dundjer (https://dundjer.co.rs/)

Romania - 04-08 July, organized by Asociatia Cluster Pro-nZEB

The events will include (i) training sessions and workshops on various subjects, such as Energy Efficiency / nearly Zero Energy Buildings (nZEB), Circular Economy, Business Models, Writing Project Proposals; (ii) B2B meetings, open discussion sessions & other networking activities; (iii) site visits / tours in factories, estate developments, research & training centers.

Eligible organisations from the partnering countries (Poland, Slovenia, Serbia, Romania) may receive financial assistance (lump-sum pending on the country of destination and duration of visit - minimum 3 days) for participating in one exchange abroad, in one of the other three countries referred.

Participation is free, but number of places is limited.

Happening now! A new training under the SMART4nZEB project on ''Low-carbon & resource efficient solutions / circular economy / nZEB'' is being provided by Asociatia Cluster Pro-nZEB.

The first very interesting lecture is being delivered right now by Dr. Arch. Adrian Ibric - ''Green Solutions in Architecture''.
