Background checks should never feel like an interrogation.

When candidates don't understand why you're asking for documents, what happens to their data, or what comes next, trust breaks. Often before they've even started.
And that's a problem that has nothing to do with compliance. It's a people problem.

We wrote an article about how to run a background check process that is both GDPR-compliant AND actually fair to the person going through it: specifically in the Romanian and EU context.
It's a practical read if you work in HR, legal or compliance and you want to reduce the friction, the drop-offs, and the back-and-forth that slow down hiring.

An audit gets announced. Every team scrambles.

În realitate, contextul se schimbă constant. Statutul juridic poate evolua, pot apărea riscuri financiare, iar listele de sancțiuni sunt actualizate zilnic.
Un angajat validat acum doi ani nu mai reprezintă neapărat o referință relevantă într-un audit actual.

De aceea am dezvoltat Employee Continuous Screening, un serviciu de monitorizare periodică a angajaților existenți, realizat cu acordul acestora și în deplină conformitate cu GDPR. Este eficient, rapid și nu implică sarcini administrative suplimentare pentru HR.
