Cámara de Comercio de España en Catar CCSQ is a private non-profit organization aimed at Spanish or foreign companies/individuals in Qatar

The Spanish Business Council is a private non-profit organization aimed at Spanish companies/individuals or foreign companies/individuals willing to improve business relations between Spain and Qatar. It has been founded by a group of representatives of Spanish companies in 2010 and is supported by the Spanish Embassy and the Spanish Commercial Office in Qatar

To provide a forum for discu

ssion of key economic, commercial and other issues of interest to Spanish companies doing or planning to do business in Qatar. The Council also provides information and sponsors events and programs which provide insight into Qatar and its international and business environment. Vision
To improve commercial relations between Spain and Qatar playing a leading role in the expansion of the bilateral relationship. Objectives

To support the activity of member companies as well as new Spanish companies arriving in Qatar

To promote Spanish commercial and business interests in Qatar and encourage economic and commercial activities, investments and other initiatives between Spain and Qatar

To offer SBC’s members a platform to exchange information and experiences and to communicate and interact with Public and Private entities and persons in Qatar by means of meetings, gatherings, seminars, conferences, receptions, etc

To encourage mutual awareness, exchange of information and cultural cooperation between the Qatar and Spain

To contribute to the development of dual and mutual commercial, economic, technical, sport and cultural relationships between Spain and Qatar

To promote events to reinforce and improve the image of Spain in Qatar. In general, any other lawful activity related to the promotion of business and/ or cultural ties between Qatar and Spain

Last Thursday, we hosted another successful Chamber Get Together at the W Doha Hotel & Residences, bringing together members, partners, and friends of the Chamber of Commerce of Spain in Qatar.

It was a great evening of networking, meaningful conversations, and strengthening connections within our business community in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Last Wednesday, we had the pleasure of taking part in another successful edition of the Back 2 Business networking event, organized by the Italian Chamber of Commerce Qatar in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of Spain in Qatar and other business councils.

The evening brought together professionals, entrepreneurs, and executives from a wide range of industries, creating an excellent platform for meaningful networking and professional exchange. One of the highlights of the event was the participation of a distinguished panel of market experts who shared valuable insights and expertise in key sectors such as insurance, legal services, AI, logistics, retail, corporate services, facility management, and human capital advisory.

A successful gathering of industry leaders focused on sustainable waste management.

The Chamber of Commerce of Spain in Qatar was pleased to host the Business Seminar: Sustainable Waste Management, Technologies and Solutions for Waste Collection, Treatment and Recycling, bringing together experts, government representatives, and business leaders to discuss innovative approaches and practical solutions for a more sustainable future.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our President, José Antonio Vicente Barrallo, for his support and collaboration in opening the event, and to Samar Abou-Farah, Communications Director of the Chamber, for her excellent moderation throughout the seminar.
