We recently hosted a debate in collaboration with Sociedade de Debates, centred on the topic of the adoption of laws regarding a variable minimum wage.

It was a great opportunity to exchange perspectives, challenge ideas, and discuss such a relevant public policy issue.

As part of our commitment to promoting financial literacy, the Católica Porto Investment Club recently held a series of workshops at Escola Básica e Secundária À Beira Douro for 10th, 11th, and 12th-grade students.

Across May 11th and 13th, we had the opportunity to engage with approximately 200 students, sharing essential economic concepts and practical tools to support informed financial decision-making.

The Championchip 2026 Final Presentations marked the end of another highly competitive and enriching edition of our investment competition.
We would like to congratulate all finalists for their dedication, preparation, and outstanding effort throughout the competition. Reaching the final stage reflects not only strong analytical skills, but also commitment, resilience, and the ability to perform under pressure.

We are proud to announce the confirmed companies for the 4th edition of CIC Your Future.
This year, participants will have the opportunity to connect with a highly distinguished group of firms from banking, consulting, audit, recruitment, and corporate finance, including Novo Banco, PwC, BPI, Adecco, Forvis Mazars, EY, Crowe, Grupo Mérito, Future Proof, and Cube.

On the 17th and 18th of April, the Católica Porto Investment Club had the privilege of carrying out an institutional visit to London, providing our members with a unique opportunity to engage directly with leading institutions and gain valuable industry exposure.
During the morning, we visited J. Safra Sarasin, where members had the opportunity to gain brief insights into the firm’s approach to private banking, wealth management, and long-term investment strategy, while learning more about its role in the global financial landscape.
In the afternoon, the visit continued at the McLaren Technology Centre, where members explored one of the world’s most iconic innovation hubs, gaining perspective on how technology, performance, and strategic excellence drive success at the highest level.
An enriching experience that reflects our commitment to bringing members closer to excellence, both in finance and beyond.
