📢 WE’RE HIRING | PART-TIME BOOKKEEPER

We’re looking for an experienced and highly organised Bookkeeper to take responsibility for the day-to-day financial administration of our growing business.

This is a hands-on, independent role for someone who knows their numbers, keeps everything meticulously organised and can work directly with our accountant to ensure our accounts are always accurate and up to date.

Your responsibilities will include processing and organising invoices and receipts, monthly bank reconciliations, correctly coding transactions, maintaining management accounts, preparing financial and management reports, identifying discrepancies and preparing our monthly accounts and supporting documentation for our accountant.

You’ll also liaise directly with our accountant, attend meetings when required and help make sure nothing is missing or overlooked.

What we're looking for:

Minimum 2 years’ bookkeeping experience
Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations, nominal codes and financial reporting
Experience with Xero, Sage, QuickBooks or similar
Good Excel skills
Excellent organisation and attention to detail
Confident working independently and taking ownership of the role
Reliable, trustworthy and professional
Based in or able to travel to Cacela, East Algarve

⏰ 1–1.5 days per week
💰 Good rate of pay
📅 Immediate start

We continued sourcing suitable properties and arranging video viewings, allowing Suzanne to explore potential homes from abroad until eventually... she found the one.
