How does LOCALEKO have a positive impact on tourism?
Apart from providing great personalized local tours ( full of stuff 👀), our goal is to have a social and environmental positive impact.
For that, our focuses go to:
1. Giving an opportunity to any local person to be a local guide and gain that extra money in the end of the month 👌 (students, unemployed, retirees, etc)
2. Automatically matching only tourists and locals who share common passions, to promote a positive cultural exchange around shared interests ➡ better relationship between tourists and locals 👭
3. Boost local tours in cute hidden city areas, to decrease the tourist concentration in city centers, and let locals enjoy it again 📍
4. For every tour given, 1€ goes to a plant a tree association 🌱
5. We encourage eco resonsible travelers by offering them tarif advantages ↪ meaning, people who travel using other means than planes 🚂 🚗 🚍🚲
