تواصل مؤسسة مجتمعات عالمية جهودها لدعم وتعزيز صمود الأسر في قطاع غزة من خلال تنفيذ مشروع النقد مقابل العمل واستعادة سبل العيش المتكاملة، والممول من برنامج الأغذية العالمي. ويهدف المشروع إلى توفير فرص عمل ودعم سبل العيش للأسر الأكثر ضعفاً، بما يسهم في تحسين الظروف المعيشية وتعزيز التعافي المجتمعي.
ومن خلال هذه المبادرة، يتم توفير أكثر من 1,500 فرصة عمل للنساء والرجال والشباب الذين يشكلون المعيلين الرئيسيين لأسرهم. ويشارك المستفيدون في مجموعة من الأنشطة الإنتاجية والتنموية، بما في ذلك إعادة تدوير أكياس الطحين الفارغة وتحويلها إلى منتجات عملية مثل الأغطية الواقية والحقائب اليدوية. وتسهم هذه الأنشطة في تعظيم الاستفادة من الموارد المتاحة، إلى جانب توفير فرص دخل مستدامة.
كما يدعم المشروع قطاع التعليم من خلال تزويد 20 مدرسة بالأثاث الخشبي المُنتج محلياً. ويقوم العمال بتصنيع الطاولات والكراسي ومنتجات خشبية أخرى باستخدام الطبالي الخشبية المعاد تدويرها، مما يسهم في تحسين البيئة التعليمية وتعزيز الخدمات المقدمة للطلبة.
وفي إطار الجهود الرامية إلى إنعاش القطاع الزراعي، سيتم تشغيل 400 عامل في أنشطة استصلاح الأراضي وإعادة تأهيل الطرق الزراعية. وتهدف هذه التدخلات إلى تحسين البنية التحتية الزراعية، وزيادة الإنتاجية، ودعم سبل عيش المجتمعات الزراعية.
بالإضافة إلى ذلك، يعزز المشروع الشمول المالي والرقمي من خلال تنفيذ أنشطة التوعية واستخدام المحافظ الإلكترونية. ومن المتوقع أن تصل هذه الجهود إلى نحو 90,000 أسرة، بما يعزز معرفتها بالخدمات المالية الرقمية ويسهل وصولها إلى أدوات مالية أكثر أماناً وكفاءة.
كما يشمل المشروع إنشاء وتوزيع أفران بلدية طينية على المجتمعات الأكثر ضعفاً في مخيمات النزوح، بما يساعد الأسر على تلبية احتياجاتها الأساسية وتحسين ظروفها المعيشية اليومية.
ومن خلال هذه التدخلات المتكاملة، تعمل منظمة المجتمعات العالمية بالتعاون مع برنامج الأغذية العالمي على تعزيز جهود التعافي، واستعادة سبل العيش، وبناء مجتمعات أكثر صموداً واستدامة في مختلف أنحاء قطاع غزة.
Global Communities continues its efforts to support and strengthen the resilience of families in Gaza through the implementation of the Cash for Work and Integrated Livelihood Restoration Project, funded by the World Food Programme (WFP). The project seeks to provide employment opportunities and livelihood support to the most vulnerable households, helping improve living conditions and contribute to community recovery.
Through this initiative, more than 1,500 employment opportunities are being created for women, men, and youth who serve as the primary breadwinners for their families. Beneficiaries are engaged in a range of productive and development-focused activities, including the recycling of empty flour bags into practical products such as tarpaulins and handmade bags. These activities maximize the use of available resources while generating sustainable income opportunities.
The project also supports the education sector by supplying 20 schools with locally produced wooden furniture. Workers are manufacturing tables, chairs, and other wooden items using recycled wooden pallets, contributing to improved learning environments and enhanced services for students.
As part of efforts to revitalize the agricultural sector, 400 workers will be employed in land rehabilitation and agricultural road restoration activities. These interventions aim to improve agricultural infrastructure, increase productivity, and support the livelihoods of farming communities.
In addition, the project promotes financial and digital inclusion through awareness-raising activities and the use of electronic wallets. These efforts will reach approximately 90,000 households, enhancing their knowledge of digital financial services and facilitating access to safer and more efficient financial tools.
The project further includes the construction and distribution of clay municipal ovens to vulnerable communities living in displacement camps, helping families meet essential household needs and improve their daily living conditions.
Through these integrated interventions, Global Communities and WFP are working together to strengthen recovery efforts, restore livelihoods, and build more resilient and sustainable communities across Gaza.
