For cross-border businesses with employees in China Mainland, payroll is often a recurring part of daily operations.
As teams grow, processing employee information, payment amounts and bank details one by one can take up valuable time.
CBiBank now supports batch RMB payroll payments to China Mainland.
Businesses can use their existing CBiBank RMB account to send payroll in RMB and have employees receive RMB, helping reduce unnecessary currency conversion and repetitive manual operations.
With CBiBank’s batch payroll service, businesses can:
• Import payroll information in batches, with up to 500 records per file
• Maintain employee information for future payroll payments
• Make payments for salaries, bonuses, dividends, allowances and other compensation
• Search and manage historical payroll records by batch number, currency, employee name, date and status
To use the service, log in to CBiBank Business Online Banking and go to:
Outgoing Payments → Payroll → Payroll to China Mainland
The service currently requires an existing CBiBank RMB account. New RMB accounts cannot currently be opened for this purpose.
The receiving bank may require the recipient to provide supporting documents before crediting the payment. Requirements may vary by receiving bank.
