On Saturday, 30th September more than 100 of our employees joined as volunteers for the environmental event Clean Up the World, organised by Fundacja Nasza Ziemia 🌍

This time we were cleaning up Las Młociński in Warsaw. It was a great opportunity to get together with family and friends for the outdoors and have a productive day cleaning up the forest.

In the end of event, we collected 392 kg of garbage! This includes plastic, paper, and glass, as well as bottle caps and cigarette butts.

We did it again! 💪

A total of 13 teams, 65 runners, and 260 kilometres were run by us BNP Paribas CIB Poland for ONE great charity, Poland Business Run. With pleasure and pride, we took part in this special charity event that supports people with motor organ dysfunctions and after mastectomy, including amputees, to provide rehabilitation, prostheses, and wheelchairs.

Congratulations to all our runners who took on the challenge, some who ran for their time in their lives and others who beat their personal records worthy of professional runners. We could not have done this without you 🏅

We hope to see you on the starting line in even bigger numbers next year!

Jesteśmy dumni, że kolejny bierzemy udział w Poland Business Run, który tradycyjnie odbywa się w Krakowie!🏃

Ważne jest dla nas, że uczestnicząc w biegu, poprzez rywalizację wirtualną oraz na miejscu w Krakowie, będziemy wspierać fantastyczną Fundację Poland Business Run run i jej szlachetną ideę, bowiem fundusze z organizacji biegu zostaną przeznaczone na pomoc osobom niepełnosprawnym, poprzez zapewnienie protez, wózków inwalidzkich i rehabilitacji.

Ten rok jest dla nas wyjątkowy. Z okazji otwarcia naszego nowego biura BNP Paribas CIB w Krakowie, będziemy także obecni w miasteczku biegowym w Krakowie z namiotem wypełnionym mnóstwem atrakcji, m.in. stacjami masażu dla wszystkich dzielnych biegaczy i ich kibiców! Nie wahaj się zatrzymać i porozmawiać z nami, dowiedzieć się więcej o naszym nowym biurze w Krakowie 💚

🐝Today is Great Bee Day!🐝

On this day in Poland, we celebrate bees and aim to highlight the importance of these incredible creatures, as 1/3 of the food that we eat is produced thanks to their pollination and hard work.

Unfortunately, they are at risk of extinction due to changes in the climate, so we must do our best to take care of them!

We are delighted to be able to help them by sharing our "office" with 50,000 of these incredible creatures, who receive our protection and care right from our very own Wronia terrace in the Warsaw office.💚

To celebrate the great and sunny weather, we had delicious ice cream that we got to enjoy on our terrace. We really appreciate these moments at work, when we get to spend time with our colleagues as well as mix with other teams in a fantastic atmosphere!

On Saturday, together with BNP Paribas Bank Polska and BNP Paribas Pride Network, we took part in Warsaw’s annual Pride Parade to show our support for the LGBTQ+ community 🏳️‍🌈

We value the inclusion of all employees by building an environment that is diverse, supports minorities, and gives respect to all, making sure everyone can be themselves at BNP Paribas!

Let’s focus on what is important, and that is our health 💚

WELLBEING is embedded in our company culture, where our staff can take part in activities that boost their physical and mental health, like yoga or mindfulness, as well as gain knowledge during educational webinars related to a healthy lifestyle. So far this year, we have had physiotherapy sessions, massages, and dietitians in the office, but that is not all! We have many events coming up, including a webinar on the Circadian Rhythm this week.

We are excited for more events like this!

We were happy to host an event for the students of the University of Warsaw in cooperation with the Koło Naukowe Inwestycji i Finansów.

Students met up with Piotr Tatar, Head of International Operations Centre Poland, Ewa Skała, Head of Private Capital, and Justyna Kacprzak, Team Leader of the Paris Settlement Department. Piotr and Ewa presented their departments, and Justyna discussed case studies that her team encounters on a daily basis.

In the second part of the event, our guests had the opportunity to improve their CVs with our experienced recruiters.

We really enjoyed the event and are looking forward to the next meeting!

Każdy wie, że w pracy trzeba być profesjonalny, jednak nadal jest w niej miejsce na czas wolny, na gry i zabawę 😉

Nasz zespół Depositary & Fiduciary Services niedawno zorganizował wzbudzający emocje turniej piłkarzyków. Trwał on 3 tygodnie, a brało w nim udział 12 drużyn z różnych zespołów. To wydarzenie zapewniło uczestnikom zdrową dawkę rywalizacji, a także pokazało, że zabawa jest częścią naszej kultury korporacyjnej BNP Paribas!

Gratulujemy zwycięzcom i czekamy na więcej takich inicjatyw! 🏆

17 May 1990, was the day that the World Health Organisation finally removed homosexuality as a mental disorder. 33 years later, we celebrate this day as , International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia.🏳️‍🌈

This is an important day for us at BNP Paribas, as the fight against discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity is a key value in our corporate culture enshrined in the Group’s Diversity, Equality and Inclusion policy. As a part of this goal, our local Pride Network has organised a webinar "My transgender journey" presented by one of our colleagues from Ireland, and does a fantastic job coordinating many other events throughout the year that support our LGBTQ+ employees on a daily basis! 💚

We have the best employees, who opened their hearts to help local dogs at the Fundacja dla Szczeniąt Judyta 💚🐶

Our staff raised 6 802,86 pln, allowing them to buy almost 200 kg of dog food and lots of needed cleaning supplies, which were all donated to the Judyta Foundation. The Judyta Foundation takes care of homeless and ill puppies! Here, the little ones can get medical help and shelter before they find a loving and permanent home, but that is not an easy or cheap undertaking. That is why the help was so important!

Additionally, 20 of our employees volunteered and spent the day with the dogs and puppies, walking and playing with them in the sun.🐕

We are very grateful to everyone who donated money and to those who took their time to volunteer, and we are sure that the little doggies were too. 💚🐶

Earth Day 2023 💚

It is a day to think about the collective actions we can take to fight climate change and reach our global goal of reaching net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, in order to keep the global temperature rise below 1.5°C.

This year’s theme is , and calls on us all to “act (boldly), innovate (broadly), and implement (equitably)”, in partnership for the planet, and highlights the need to take action now, before it’s too late.

Financial institutions have a key role to play in helping all sectors of society accelerate the transition to a low-carbon world. We at BNP Paribas are proud of our Environmental Social Governance (ESG) strategy that reinforces and strengthens our commitment to sustainability as well as the Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) activities our employees take part in to improve the state of our planet, like clean-ups of our local forests.
