🏠 The Housing Program "Mieszkaniowy na Start" Still Not Submitted to Parliament! 🏠

Despite many people eagerly awaiting new solutions in housing policy, the "Mieszkaniowy na Start" program has not yet been presented to Parliament. This ambitious project, aimed at improving the availability of housing for young families and low-income individuals, is facing ongoing delays. ⏳

📋 What does the program entail?

The "Mieszkaniowy na Start" program aims to support the construction and rental of housing under preferential conditions. Key elements of the program include:

Rent subsidies: The state would subsidize rents, lowering rental costs for tenants.
Support for housing construction: Incentives for developers to build rental housing available at lower rates.

Despite earlier announcements, the program is encountering difficulties at the legislative stage. It has not yet been submitted to Parliament, meaning that work on its implementation is significantly delayed. Who can benefit from the support?

Singles under 35 years old.
Families with children, regardless of their age.
Individuals without their own home, unless they have a stake of up to 50% in inherited or gifted real estate.
Families with at least three children, owning one apartment.
Couples who want to acquire property together, with each partner's stake not exceeding 50%.

What benefits do we offer?

Subsidies for mortgage repayments, available only until the end of 2025.
Interest rates reduced by:
1.5% for singles and couples,
1% for three-person families,
0.5% for four-person families,
0% for five-person families and larger, as well as for consumer loans to cover participation costs in the Social Housing Initiative (SIM) or contributions to a housing cooperative.

🏠🔑 Exciting news from yesterday! 🚀 The draft law for the government's "Housing for Starters" program is set to be ready this year - announced Deputy Minister of Development and Technology, Waldemar Sługocki, in an interview with Studio PAP. "The legislative process will commence this year. We have inter-ministerial consultations ahead, as well as consultations with social partners. These consultations are ongoing," said Deputy Minister Sługocki regarding the "Housing for Starters" program. "The draft law is expected to be ready this year," he announced.

The work on the new "Housing for Starters" credit program is in full swing, and the project is expected to be completed this year! 📅 This program aims to replace the "Secure Credit 2%", offering preferential credit terms to a wider group of people. According to Deputy Minister Sługocki, families and singles will receive support in repaying the credit, with planned gold loans to be granted on preferential terms. The anticipated amounts are 450,000 PLN for families with one child and 200,000 PLN for singles.
