Not long ago, we were marking the completion of the newly renovated 2nd floor at Miele Global Services... and now a giant cake was being cut to celebrate the opening of the 3rd. 🎉

With all the renovations now complete, the office is finally coming together and it really shows. It’s bright, full of plants, and the acoustic screens are a great touch for keeping things a bit quieter in open space.

It feels good to work in.

One colleague says:

Two hours later, Strava says: 18 km.

That's pretty much what our Summer Sports Challenge in Miele Global Services looks like.

All summer long, our colleagues are logging their walks, runs and bike rides in app, collecting kilometers and enjoying a bit of friendly competition along the way.

Some people collect souvenirs from their holidays.
We're collecting kilometers instead. 😉🚴🏃🚶

If someone tracked the journey of Miele Global Services laptops this summer, they'd end up with an impressive map of Poland.

🌊 Lakes.

🌲 Forests.

⛰️ Mountains.

🌅 The seaside.

Not long ago, we introduced Domestic Workation, giving our employees the opportunity to work remotely from different locations across Poland.

Of course, it's not as simple as packing your laptop and heading off. Before working from a different location, employees need to inform their manager, obtain approval, and make sure their workspace meets all health and safety requirements.

Sometimes you might miss the air conditioning. But it's hard to complain when your coffee break comes with a forest view or a few quiet minutes on the terrace between meetings.

🎈 Children's Day was officially celebrated in Poland on Monday, but at Miele Global Services we just couldn't wait to join the fun so we started celebrating on May 26! 😊

Through our Children's Give & Take initiative, we brought a little bit of childhood magic into the office.

Our employees contributed toys, books, clothes, games, and many other children's treasures, which were later showcased during the final event. Colleagues could browse the collection and choose items ready for a new adventure with the young ones in their families. ✨

There were sweet treats, Disney tunes, and a nostalgic trip down memory lane through childhood photos shared by our employees that brought back plenty of memories and raised a few questions about some of fashion choices back then. 📸

And the story doesn't end there. The treasures that didn't find a new home during the exchange will now bring joy to children and families supported by a local charity, giving our initiative an even greater purpose. ❤️

👏 A big round of applause to everyone who got involved and helped make this initiative such a wonderful success!

A day outside the office, but very much focused on what happens inside our teams.

Last week we had another edition of full-day workshop for our leadership at MGS. No slides overload and corporate scripts – just real conversations about how we work together and what can we do better 📈

This time, we zoomed in on roles within teams – not as job titles, but as real contributions, expectations, and responsibilities. Aligning on how we understand these roles helps us collaborate better, avoid friction, and create space for people to do their best work 💪

Because better leadership isn’t an abstract idea. It’s something we build step by step – through trust, clarity, and honest dialogue.

Big day at Miele Global Services - the renovated 2nd floor at Business Garden Poznań office has just been officially opened, and it truly makes an impression.

The celebration included a great surprise: professional baristas on site crafting a variety of drinks.☕️😉

But the real highlight is the space itself.
From the moment you walk in, one thing stands out: silence, the designed kind. It’s the result of carefully planned acoustics, from panels featuring Miele product visuals (functional and stylish) to a layout shaped by measured sound distribution.

And when even these quiet open spaces feel too loud, there are soundproof booths ready for calls, meetings, or simply a moment to reset. 😌

On doors, in notebooks, on cups… it’s hard to miss. 😉 But it’s definitely more than just words.

We bring this idea to life through the Idea App, a space where employees share practical ideas to improve to improve their work and make processes faster, more efficient.

The results speak for themselves:
✔️ 469 ideas submitted
✔️ 211 implemented and rewarded

That’s hundreds of real improvements. And, of course, the people behind these ideas are recognized and rewarded.

📢 Miele Global Services – SBO Cluster Workshop

Earlier in March, a two-day Sales Back Office Cluster workshop was organized for regional Leaders, covering news and targets for the year. These cyclical gatherings are held every six months, fostering collaboration and continuous development across the region.

A new element of the program was the participation of HR Business Partner Gabriela Doktór, who answered leaders’ questions and explained how she can support them and their teams.

The sessions also included team activities, where participants collaboratively developed ideas to improve business and team performance.

International Women’s Day at Miele Global Services 🌷

On Monday, to celebrate International Women’s Day, our office was decorated with flowers, and the Employee Council organized a quiz with prizes that allowed us to test our knowledge about women and their contributions to science, innovation, and history.
One of the sample questions, which was also quite easy, was: “Which Polish woman received two Nobel Prizes?”

International Women’s Day is also a great opportunity to take a look at our organization. At Miele Global Services, women make up:
• 90% of our management team
• 70% of leadership positions
These numbers show the important role women play in building our organization and contributing to its everyday success.

We thank the Employee Council for organizing the quiz and all participants for their engagement.
