LAST MONTH

The last month has been absolutely intense for us! We visited Carnuntum, took part in ArteFakty and Biskupin, and were also involved in the “Secret Project” by the Hellas et Roma Association.

But now it’s time to clean our boots and put our reenactment cloaks back in the wardrobe. We’re settling into our comfy chairs and getting back to research and working on your orders.

We’re also quietly looking ahead – this year, we’d like to surprise you with a special December offer. 😊

We’re happy that we can still share this space with you, despite our continued limited access to Facebook. And we’re not giving up here either – we’re still making sure Facebook hears from us and fighting to have Cactus restored to his rightful place as the glorious and much-loved ruler of Facebook! 👑🌵 And if you’re missing Cactus, you can always find him directly on Instagram!

Stay tuned, as always, and we’ll do our best not to disappoint you!

Our little elf – or rather, our mighty Dwarf King – is currently packing your parcels!

P.S. If you have no idea what the Dwarf King is all about, ask Cactus in person someday! 😉

*Carnuntum and after Carnuntum!*

This was the last trip under the banner of Fabrica Cacti this season!

This time, we presented our trade stand in pretty good shape. Of course, there are always things we could do better, and we’ll keep working year by year to improve both our business and our stand.

Let us know — what else would you like to see on our stall?

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by. It was wonderful to see all those familiar faces, as well as some new ones! And seeing you wearing and using our products that have been with you for a long time is the best reward we could imagine.💚

See you on the road next year!

As you know, we don’t usually share fundraisers, but this time we feel it is our responsibility to pass this one on — both as citizens of a neighboring country and as fellow craftspeople.

If you can, please consider supporting Nika, whose work has inspired and amazed us many times. ❤️

Every bit of support matters.

Roman Helmet – Imperial Gallic D Type ⚔️

We are now opening orders for helmets for next year!

Shown in the photo is our reconstruction of the Imperial Gallic D — one of the more advanced forms of legionary helmets from the Early Roman Empire. It is a design that combines excellent protective qualities with a distinctive and highly developed decorative form.

The helmet features a well-profiled, hemispherical bowl with reinforcing ridges, a clearly defined brow guard, a broad neck guard, and the characteristic expanded bucculae — cheek pieces mounted on hinges, often additionally decorated with appliqués and rosettes.

Each helmet is made by hand and individually crafted. Our workshop usually produces no more than 5 helmets per year, so if you have been thinking about becoming the owner of a unique reconstruction made by Fabrica Cacti, now is the right time to reserve your place in our production schedule.

💰 Price: 1300 EURO
📩 For orders and details, send us a private message.

Only a few pieces each year. Every one of them made from scratch in our workshop.

Today is a good day to introduce one of our clients from Czechia!

Lucius Flavius Arminius is an optio of Cohors IX Batavorum, unit during the reign of the Flavian emperors. For him, we created a four-layered, two-coloured blue-and-red subarmalis with pteryges.

As you can see, it has brought him a lot of joy and a little extra lightness to everyday life in historical reenactment.

If you're interested in having a custom-made subarmalis like this, feel free to send us a message. We'd be happy to create one tailored to your needs.

Can one lie on a funeral pyre in a more dignified style? We honestly doubt it!

This mannequin of a warrior from the Przeworsk culture at Centrum Dziedzictwa Kulturowego i Archeologicznego Gminy Hrubieszów does it really well. The shield made by Fabrica Cacti certainly help!

Comfortable footwear is also an important part of the journey to the afterlife — as another mannequin you can meet at the exhibition can prove. The final journey deserves proper preparation!

Last weekend, we had the opportunity to visit the new Museum and take part in the amazing the 19th Archaeological Feast (Biesiada Archeologiczna) in Masłomęcz. It is truly a unique place on the eastern map of Poland — we highly recommend visiting!
