Amendments to the Practice & Procedure Act would indicate that after retirement of the PRESENT CJ on 25th Oct the NEW CJ will exercise these powers. Why then introduce these ammendments for such a short period leads me to believe the present CJ is going nowhere. Alternatively the next CM will be from amoung the top 3/5 senior most judges as proposed in the new draft yet to be approved.

A passenger got on a plane with a package in his hand. As the plane took off he stood up holding package shouting at the top of his voice that he was holding a bomb and demanded that the plane be diverted to another destination. A crew member succeeded in overpowering the passenger and taking the package to a remote part of the plane. The captain of the plane landed at the nearest airport where the bomb disposal squad was called in to examine the package.They found no bomb.
Should the passenger who threatened to blow up the plane be punished or pardoned just because no bomb was found?

The Finance Minister has rightly pointed out that IMF is putting conditions which will ultimately help Pakistan and which no Political Govt can implement for fear of becoming unpopular. He is on the right track and what I like about him is he doesn't dable in politics.I Wish him success in his endeavours

Which Politcal Party is satisfied with the 2024 election results? Even Nawaz has challenged his loss in Manshera. JUI & ANP against their loss to Independents( PTI) and PTI against PMLN . MQM anainst PPP & in Balouchstan it is a similar story with the smaller parties.

How can one expect Democracy to flourish when no one is prepared to accept results? Who is at fault? Establishment or the Political parties?

Are frequent elections the answer, if so ,can we afford the cost and the uncertainty/ instability

First it was Pervaiz Khattak followed by Mahmood Khan & now Ali Amin. KP's debt increased from Rs 67 Billion to a trillion but not much to show for it. Overdue payments from Center have increased despite the fact that PTI had a Govt in the center for 3 1/2 Years. Further confrontation seems to be on the cards and with a hostile Govt at the center how can one expect KP to Develop/ progress in the next 5 years. Does any one really care?
The combined wisdom of Atif , Ali Amin, Taimur Jagra is not enough to put humpty humpty together again. Unfortunate but true.
