Mudassir H. Khan, MD/CEO – PMRC participated at the Asia-Pacific Shelter and Settlements Forum 2026, held at Pearl Continental Hotel, Karachi.

During the Forum, Mr. Mudassir contributed as a panelist in the session titled “Blending Finance and Affordability for Resilient Settlements” where he shared insights on innovative financing mechanisms, risk-sharing structures, and the role of capital markets in advancing affordable and climate-resilient housing solutions across the region.

The discussion underscored the importance of public–private collaboration and blended finance approaches to bridge the housing gap and strengthen resilient urban development frameworks.

PMRC organized a roundtable conference on topic “Unlocking Housing Finance Potential: A Multi-Stakeholder Dialogue with Regulators, REITs, ABAD & Property Experts” on 24th December 2025 at Ramada Hotel, Karachi Pakistan. The objective of the roundtable was to discuss strategies for building mortgage liquidity, developer finance, and Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) to support the development of Pakistan's housing market. The session was attended by participants from the State Bank of Pakistan, Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, Arif Habib Dolmen REIT Management, Pak Brunei Investment Company Limited, Habib Bank Limited, Bank of Punjab, Zameen.com, Meezan Bank Limited, JS Bank, Alfalah Investments, Savills Pakistan

PMRC, in partnership with the Karachi Down Syndrome Program (KDSP), proudly unveiled a Training Kitchen designed to empower children with Down Syndrome. This purpose built space offers hands-on training in essential daily living and vocational skills, helping children build confidence, independence, and self-reliance.

More than a facility, the Training Kitchen represents inclusion, dignity, and equal opportunity, equipping children to become more self-reliant and ready to contribute meaningfully to society.

Through this initiative, PMRC reinforces its commitment to social responsibility and inclusive growth, proving that practical skills can create life changing impact.
