On Friday, October 25th, the FAST School of Management had successfully held a seminar on ‘Strategic Management: How Business Students Can Create Winning Marketing Strategies’. The keynote was conveyed by Mr. Ammar Mursalin, the incumbent Marketing Manager at Tetra Pak. Mr. Mursalin was a credible speaker on the aforementioned theme, as he has built an inspiring career in the field of marketing. Being an MBA alumnus from IBA, he has more than 12 years of experience in executive positions at Citibank, ARY Digital, Engro Corp and Nestle.
With more than 300 students, with faculty members, in attendance, the seminar was impressively engaging interactive and insightful. With Mr. Mursalin’s vast experience in fields such as Brand Management, Consumer Insights and Analytics, and Sales Management, he was able to impart valuable knowledge about how business students, today, can formulate strategies, and how they can be successfully implemented. More specifically, he spoke on the goals of marketing strategy, how Tetra Pak currently formulates its strategies, and how business students can tailor strategies for today’s environment.
The talk was highly anticipated by all students and faculty members of the FAST School of Management, as the seminar was an immense value addition. This seminar was possible due to the encouragement of Mr. Shahid Malik and Team Bravo of Strategic Management Course.
The two-hour keynote had culminated in awarding Mr. Mursalin with a shied for his commendable effort in providing a talk to the business students at the FAST School of Management.
