CFP is proud of the Technical Support and Expertise it provided the Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce & Industry (OICCI) in conducting their Climate Excellence Awards, 2026, held during the 4th Conference on Climate Action.

The Awards capped an action-packed day that saw everyone from the Federal Ministers to leading innovators, and Global Sustainability Officers for Multinationals take the stage. Insightful discussions were had on the current positioning of Pakistan’s sustainability landscape, and how a collective effort from the public and private sectors is needed to drive it forward.

Stay tuned as we unveil this year’s winners, delve into what sets them apart, and highlight key areas for improvement as we move towards a more sustainable, resilient, and competitive Pakistan.

Guiding Ambitious Founders: Last week, CEO Mekaeel Malik spoke on a panel on ‘Challenge to Change: Powering Climate Innovation in Pakistan.’
He acknowledged the immense difficulty facing national climate innovators due to financing gaps, and the reluctance in investments from VCs. However, he also stressed upon finding hope through success stories- such as that of fellow panelist Hassan Iqbal Khan of Zyp Technologies- and remaining steadfast against the uphill battles the founders are facing.
