AM Logistics (Transport)
A premier food company, involved in manufacturing and selling through its own retail outlets; bakery, confectionary and allied products, frozen food, pure water, pasteurized milk, Desi-ghee and cheese, duly certified under ISO 9001:2018, FSSC and HALAL regimes, is looking for a competent, vibrant, dynamic and experienced person for the position of Assistant Manager Logistics (Transport), Supply Chain department.
a) To manage fleet efficiently and effectively;
b) To manage drivers of fleet effectively for optimal work efficiency;
c) To plan, develop and implement SoPs to manage fleet as well as drivers;
d) To plan, develop and implement effective and efficient route for fleet;
e) To monitor and control fuel efficiency of vehicles/delivery vans/fleet;
Position is reporting to Manager Supply Chain
Qualification: At least a graduate, preferably in Business/Economics
Experience: At least 5-6 years of experience in managing fleet/delivery vans and drivers in a reputed company; proven track record of handling fleet effectively and efficiently
Skill-set:
• Good in MS Office, especially MS Excel, preferably having worked over Logistics module of known ERP;
• Tactful handling of human resources;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
