18th Zilhijja - Marks the significant Event of Muslims called 'Ghadeer e Khum' a sermon of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in which he directed all the Muslims to hold the Rope of Allah (Quran) and fear from Allah in doing Injustice with my Ahle Bait. (Sahih Muslim 6225)

This Event had been reported by 110 Companions of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ and numerous Tab'ieen, tantamount of its Great significance in Islam.

Muslims commemorate this Event as Eid e Ghadeer, as according to the Shiite Faith, this auspicious Day Signifies the Appointment of Hazrat Ali (RA/AS) as Muhammad ﷺ successor.

The Prophet Mohammed ﷺ Held Hazrat Ali's (RA/AS) Hand and said : "Man Kunto Mola Fahaza Ali Mola" ( ﻣﻦ ﮐﻨﺖ ﻣﻮﻟﺎﮦ ‘ ﻓﮭﺬﺍ ﻋﻠﯽ ‘ ﻣﻮﻟﺎﮦ ). Which Translates to : "Jis Jis Ka Mai Mola Us Us Ka Ali Mola"

However, The Sunni faith regard the declaration as a simple affirmation of Muhammad's esteem for Ali, who takes Mola literal meaning of Bossom Friend or Jigri Dost

Pre-monsoon rains have wreaked havoc in various parts of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, causing floods and roofs to collapse, damaging crops and properties and leaving several people dead and injured, according to the provinces' disaster management authorities.

Clear risk of flooding in Karachi, other big cities

On Tuesday, Climate Change Minister Sherry Rehman also said large parts of the country could face floods in the aftermath of torrential rains in the coming days, adding that there was a "clear risk of flooding in Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Peshawar, Islamabad and other big cities".

"Some forecasts even predict that Pakistan may have to face a flood-like situation similar to the one in 2010," she said.
