In adherence to the directives set forth by the State Bank of Pakistan and the Pakistan Remittance Initiative (PRI), and in collaboration with the Protectorate of Emigrants, the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) executed the second phase of Pre-Departure Briefing Sessions at the Protectorate of Emigrants in Sialkot.

Throughout these sessions, NBP team disseminated valuable information to prospective emigrants, underscoring the significance of channeling their hard-earned income to their families in Pakistan through legitimate financial avenues. Furthermore, the team accentuated the adverse repercussions associated with illicit remittance methods such as hawala-hundi.

Moreover, NBP team urged emigrants to fully capitalize on the advantages extended by the Government of Pakistan via the Sohni Dharti Remittance Program by actively enrolling in it. This initiative presents emigrants with the opportunity to accrue substantial incentives and rewards for their remittances when executed through authorized and lawful financial channels.
