While achieving 15% growth in agricultural credit disbursements (Jul–Mar, FY25–26) demonstrates positive institutional momentum, the credit gap for smallholders remains wide. The banking sector needs to continue developing tailored financing tools and expanding credit access to support agricultural growth.
