May 19, 2026 | Kasanyangan formally launch KaCare and KaPharma

The launching of Kasanyagan Primary Care Clinic and Pharmacy was successfully held at the Kasanyagan Primary Care Facility in Tugbungan, Zamboanga City.

As accredited facilities under the Philhealth YAKAP Program, KaCare and KaPharma strengthen the commitment to providing accessible and free primary health care services to the community.

This marks another milestone in extending compassionate healthcare services and community-centered care to those who need it most.

KMFI and KERDFI goes to SIQUIJOR!

The 2026 Team Building of the KMFI Office of the President, MIS, Finance, Accounting, and KERDFI, held in Siquijor from May 1–3, 2026, was a meaningful opportunity for the teams to step away from daily responsibilities and spend time strengthening connections beyond the workplace.

The activity provided an opportunity for employees to build stronger professional relationships, shared experiences that encouraged teamwork, open communication, collaboration, and camaraderie among departments. The activity not only created lasting memories, but also reinforced the importance of trust, cooperation, and working together toward common goals.

More than a time for rest and recreation, the gathering reflected the institution’s continued commitment to building a positive work culture where strong relationships, teamwork, and employee engagement remain essential in delivering effective service and achieving organizational excellence.

Risk Management Training

Last May 16, 2026, the Executive Committee and Management Committee actively participated in the Risk Management Training held at the KCCDFI 3rd Floor Building.

The training was conducted by Edgardo F. Faustino, President and CEO of KERDFI, who shared valuable insights and strategies on effective risk management practices essential for strengthening organizational operations and sustainability.

This activity aims to enhance the knowledge and capabilities of the officers and management in identifying, assessing, and managing risks to ensure better decision-making and continuous growth of the Institution.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all participants and to the resource speaker for making this training informative and successful. Together, we continue to build a stronger and more resilient organization.

The Sinoropan Community Cooperative Office & Display Center stands as a symbol of bayanihan, unity, and community participation. This milestone project was made possible through the collaboration of Kasanyangan Converging Institutions (KCI) and the Sinoropan Community Cooperative (SICOMCO), proving that when communities and partners work together, progress becomes possible.

The ceremony was graced by KMFI President & CEO Ms. Mercedes G. Faustino and KERDFI President Mr. Edgardo F. Faustino, together with representatives from the City Agriculture Office Vitali District, San Pedro Hog Raisers Agriculture Cooperative, and Tictapul Community Cooperative.

Ms. Judelyn Macasling, Chairperson of SICOMCO, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the KCI family for their unwavering support from the cooperative’s humble beginnings to the realization of this community structure.
