As we approach the festive holiday season, we would like to inform all SMCCians members and followers about the upcoming observances related to 𝐌𝐚𝐮𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐧 𝐍𝐚𝐛𝐢.

Please take note of the following guidelines and information:

Date of Observance: 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟔, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 (𝐖𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲)

𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲: Mauluddin Nabi holds great spiritual and cultural importance. The day commemorates the life, teachings, and contributions of Mauluddin Nabi to our faith and community.

𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐆𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬: Special prayers, sermons, and community gatherings will be organized. Please adhere to local health guidelines and safety protocols during these events.

𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭: We encourage everyone to observe the holiday with respect, humility, and kindness. Refrain from any behavior that may disrupt the sanctity of the occasion.

Mauluddin Nabi, also known as the Birthday of prophet Muhammad S.A.W., is a significant occasion observed by Muslim communities. Pursuant to 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐍𝐨. 𝟏𝟎𝟖𝟑, otherwise known as the Code of Muslim Personal Laws of the Philippines, August 26, 2026 is declared a 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐥𝐢𝐦 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 in designated provinces and cities, including 𝗭𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆.

Ninoy Aquino Day is a special non-working day observed every August 21 in commemoration of the death anniversary of former Senator Benigno "Ninoy" S. Aquino, Jr. The Occasion serves as a remembrance of his life and contribution to Philippines democracy.

Pursuant to Proclamation No. 1006, s. 2025, August 21, 2026 (Friday) is declared a Special Non-Working Day nationwide in observance of Ninoy Aquino Day.

In line with this, please be guided by the following office schedule:
