Few days ago, my wife and I went out for lunch in a mall just across her workplace. Before we reached the restaurant we planned to eat at, we saw huge signages with Horoscopes for this year in time for Chinese New Year.
Wife: Tara check natin, pero ‘wag na lang kasi baka malas ako this year, malungkot pa ako.
So we both laughed knowing that she was joking and went to look at our horoscopes. Gratefully, based on those signages, both our horoscopes are on the safe side.
I told her that based on my horoscope, my money aspect will improve this year. I even said to her that if other people would ask for my secret, I’ll say “My secret is my wife, she saves for me.”
Then she laughed and told me that: “Aba! Pinapasok ko naman sa savings and insurance.”
As we decided to walk away from the area, she said, “prayers lang yan”, she goes on by saying that no matter what her horoscope is, it’s still up to our faith in God and our dedication to succeed and save.
