π June is Men's Mental Health Month π
This June, the Provincial Government of Cavite Employees and Community Multi-Purpose Cooperative (PGCECC) joins the observance of Men's Mental Health Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness about the mental well-being of men.
Men often face unique challenges and may hesitate to seek help due to social expectations and stigma. As a community, we can make a difference by fostering understanding, encouraging open conversations, and promoting healthy habits.
β
Check in on your friends, family members, and colleagues.
β
Create safe spaces where men can express their thoughts and feelings without judgment.
β
Encourage professional support when needed.
β
Prioritize physical activity, healthy coping mechanisms, and overall wellness.
Remember, taking care of one's mental health is a sign of strength, not weakness.
If you or someone you know needs immediate mental health support, the National Center for Mental Health (NCMH) Crisis Hotline is available 24/7:
