The First Consolidated Cooperative Along TaΓ±on Seaboards is the metamorphosis of two-time consolidations and mergers of nine primary cooperatives. When Atlas Mining (ACMDC) closed shop in 1994, two primary coops were left among the many organizations developed and assisted by its Community Development Department. They were the Don Andres Soriano Credit Cooperative and Atlas Community Beneficiaries

Cooperative. They were consolidated into First Consolidated Cooperative in Toledo (FCCT) and got approval by the Cooperative Development Authority on January 5, 1999.

We are grateful to have successfully completed our 3rd delivery of raw food materials for the Supplementary Feeding Program (SFP) Cycle 16 in Toledo City, Cebu.

We brought to the DSWD DROSIC Office and will help provide food to 61 daycare centers, benefiting around 3,200 daycare pupils.

More than just a delivery, this engagement is an opportunity to serve our community and contribute, even in a simple way, to the proper growth and development of our young children.

We sincerely thank the DSWD Supplementary Feeding Program for trusting our cooperative and giving us the opportunity to serve our own community. We also appreciate DSWD EPAHP for the technical assistance and for helping us find and connect with marketsβ€”not only within DSWD but also with other government agencies.

We are thankful for this partnership and for the chance to show that when local cooperatives are given opportunities, we can help provide food for our communities while creating a better livelihood for our members. Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty - EPAHP Program

🀝 Strengthening Partnerships for Sustainable Community Development 🌱

On June 11, 2026, a productive meeting was conducted with the BJMP Regional Chief Inspector of Bacolod City, Negros Island Region, and the Procurement Officer of San Carlos City, Negros Island Region, to discuss potential collaborations with FCCT in support of the implementation of the SAGIP SAKA Act.

The meeting emphasized the vital role of cooperatives such as FCCT, government agencies like BJMP, and institutional partners in improving market access, strengthening local procurement systems, and creating sustainable opportunities for farmers, fisherfolk, and local communities through cooperative-driven initiatives.

Likewise, it was an honor to engage in meaningful discussions with the DSWD–NIR regarding the Walang Gutom Program and with DA Regional Technical Director for Research and Regulations, Mr. Zaldy Boloron, regarding the Dairy Production Program. These conversations open doors for future partnerships that aim to enhance food security, agricultural development, and livelihood opportunities for our communities.

FCCT remains committed to building strong partnerships that promote inclusive growth, community empowerment, and sustainable development. Together, we can create lasting impact and bring meaningful change to the lives of the people we serve.

Our sincere gratitude to Agricooph for providing this valuable opportunity for collaboration and partnership.

May this be the beginning of stronger relationships, successful programs, and shared achievements in service of our communities.

🌱✨ Meet Mrs. Perla Olis, one of the hardworking members of FCCT Manjuyod. Through dedication, perseverance, and continuous learning, her farm has become a great example of sustainable and diversified farming.

Her farm is filled with different varieties of vegetables that provide fresh and healthy produce for the community. Aside from vegetable farming, she also manages livestock and maintains a fishpond, creating multiple sources of livelihood for her family. 🐟πŸ₯¬πŸŒΆοΈπŸŒΎ

One of the biggest factors behind the healthy and productive condition of her crops is the use of Takakura Compost. Through proper organic farming practices and the knowledge she gained from FCCT seminars and trainings, her vegetables became healthier, greener, bigger, and more productive. πŸŒ±πŸ’š The use of organic compost greatly improved the quality of her soil, helping her plants grow naturally while reducing dependence on harmful chemicals.

Because of her active participation and consistent attendance in FCCT trainings, Mrs. Perla Olis continues to improve her knowledge and skills in sustainable agriculture, composting, livestock management, and environmentally friendly farming techniques.

Her success proves that organic farming is not only beneficial for the environment, but also helps farmers produce healthier crops, lower farming costs, and create sustainable sources of income for their families and communities. 🌾✨
