“What if you were given a 2nd chance to buy insurance?”

You might not realise it, but there is actually a small group of people out there who are unable to get protected because of their health condition.

Some weren't given the chance to buy insurance from day 1, while others neglected insurance in the early part of their life and later on when they needed it the most, they were not allowed to get covered any more.

Being an advisor for the last 21 years, I’ve seen many friends who have suffered and spent hundreds of thousands in medical cost just because they said in the early days, “I’m healthy, I don’t need insurance right now, I will buy next year”

It hurts me so much, because if only I could persuade them to get covered earlier, all these could be avoided.

Insurance is neither the coolest nor the trendiest thing to buy but the most necessary expense.

✅You pass away, your loved one gets the needed source of income to tide them through the toughest period of their life.
✅You fall sick, you get covered for all unexpected expenses.
✅Your kids go to college, you get the peace of mind knowing they can study and follow their dreams whenever they want.
✅You retire, you get a stream of income coming to you without worrying about day to day expense.

This coming Christmas, if an advisor comes to you asking you if you’re covered, don’t reject them first. Sit down and listen to what they have to say.

Because… you need to know if you’re even eligible to buy insurance in the first place. At least get a professional to find out.

Remember, not everyone can buy insurance and if you can, don’t wait for a “2nd chance”, buy now while you still can.

Also, premiums get more expensive when you grow older, so don’t wait till 2022.

Financial freedom is available to those who learn about it and work for it..
-Robert Kiyosaki-

Save what you earn and spend what is left, instead of saving what is left after spending what you earn.

Yun ang pinaka-importanteng natutunan ko when it comes to handling money.

The 2nd was not to put all my eggs in one basket.

Dati, whenever I was asked to invest sa isang negosyo, I'd say no because wala akong time para tutukan yung business, because I felt that I needed to focus all my energy sa Parokya since it was my primary source of income, and ang plano ko lang was tumugtog at mag-ipon.

Then someone told me to diversify my investments and sources of income...para kung may mawalang isa, may iba akong mapagkukunan ng pera.

Nung nag-lockdown, biglang tumigil lahat ng gigs.

Kung umasa lang ako sa pagbabanda, wala sana akong ibang mapagkukunan to provide for my family aside sa ipon na sobrang bilis ma-ubos kung hindi nare-replenish.

Another thing I did was to "invest" in my wife...not necessarily financially, but more of yung time and support she needed for her to succeed on her own.

More importantly, instead of simply saying "ako na bahala sa lahat...asikasuhin mo nalang yung bahay", whenever possible, I would say, "ako muna dito sa bahay...asikasuhin mo yung mga kelangan mo gawin", which gave her the time and energy to focus on her goals.

Basahin. ❤️

1. Build your emergency fund. Emergency fund should be atleast 3-6 months worth. 🙏🙏

2. Get a short/long term health care.

3. Get a life insurance. This coverage will be your income replacement, if the breadwinner will be taken out of the picture ang insurance ang papalit sa nawalang income.10 years is enough para maka adjust sa buhay. The earlier the better.

4. Clear your debts. Utang.

5. Your INVESTMENT. Again, kung ayaw mo malubog sa utang clear your debts first before investing to something. BUT if you think na kaya mo pagsabayin ang pag invest, like stock markets, mutual funds etc. Pag-aralan muna ang mga ito bago pasukin. Real estate is good too, but if installment it's up to you on how to handle your financial. About business, if you're knowledgeable about what business to put up then you can try it.

6. Don't forget your RETIREMENT, yes! We only live once, but we also grow old. MAKE YOUR CHILDREN as your retirement plan. They also have a family to build. As a parent it's our obligation to raise them. In return, bonus nalang ang pagbibigay nila satin. :)

Sana makatulong sa lahat. ❤️

The Importance of Life Insurance to OFW's

Do you currently work abroad? Or do you have a family member, a relative or friends working overseas? Let's discuss about how vital for you/them to have a life insurance policy.

Working abroad, in its own sense, is already a risky decision. Aside from the fact that you or they sacrifice a lot just to make sure that you/they provide a comfortable life and brighter future for their families, the danger of any unfortunate events may happen, especially if it happens in other place than the Philippines.

See the most likely dangers our modern heroes face when they are working overseas:

1. Seaman / Seafarers / Flight Crews - They risk their lives from pirates, sea storms, possible sea collisions and other sea accidents. They have one of the most dangerous jobs in the world, hence they deserved to be insured.

2. OFW / OCW / Housekeeper - The risk of accident, maltreatment (leading to hospitalization) or even death by the hands of your/their 'amo' (we've heard a lot of these).

3. Healthcare Professionals/Doctors/Nurses - Aside from accident, there is a danger of getting infected with disease.

4. Office Jobs / Clerk / Other Jobs - Accident, danger of losing job, danger of being illegally recruited, among others.

Along with buying a new house and car, an OFW, seafarer, a nurse, etc. should have availed a life insurance or educational plan so that in the event that something happens to him, his family’s future is SECURED. You don't want all your sacrifices be in vain. 💛
