Great News!!

: Expressways will exempt trucks carrying farm products from toll hikes dating back to June 2023. This means an agricultural truck traveling from Balintawak to Tarlac can save as much as P156.

The program aims to bring down logistics costs and slash food prices. As agreed upon by toll operators, the rebate will begin on June 1, 2024, Saturday.

CoScho aims to empower and support qualified coconut farmers and their families by providing educational opportunities. Eligibility Criteria:
To qualify, you must:
• Be a Filipino citizen
• Have a GWA of 80% or its equivalent (for high school graduates or college students)
• Pass the entry level requirements of identified State Universities and Colleges (SUCs)
• Not be a recipient of any government-funded financial assistance program
• Be a duly registered coconut farmer in the National Coconut Farmers Registry System (NCFRS) or a dependent of one
• Have a combined annual gross income of parents not exceeding ₱300,000.00
• In exceptional cases where income exceeds ₱300,000.00, the concerned CHED Regional Office may consider special circumstances, such as medical issues or multiple dependents enrolled in college.
