There was a time when I asked myself, “Bakit nga ba ako naging insurance agent?”

At first, simple lang talaga yung reason, extra income.

As a father of two, with one child needing special care, I knew I had to do more. Okay naman ang salary ko as a corporate worker, but when therapy sessions, checkups, and medications started piling up, ramdam ko yung bigat. Yung tipong every sweldo, parang dumadaan lang sa kamay mo.

That’s when I started looking for opportunities. Naisip ko, baka sales ang pwede sakin. Wala akong malaking puhunan para mag-business. Dito, sipag, tiyaga, at lakas lang ng loob ang baon mo. “Laway lang puhunan,” ika nga nila.

Pero habang tumatagal, may narealize ako.
This became more than just a side hustle.
Every family I talk to… every individual na natutulungan kong maintindihan kung paano gumagana ang insurance… every message saying “thank you kasi mas prepared na kami ngayon”… iba yung feeling.

Hindi lang pala ako kumikita. Nakakatulong din pala ako na mabawasan yung takot at uncertainty ng ibang tao. And honestly, seeing people finally understand the value of protection, that’s the part that fulfills my heart the most. ❤️
