Client: Hindi ako naniniwala sa Insurance.

Me: Mr. Client diba may kotse ka?

Me: May spare tire kang dala?

Me: Bakit ka may dala?

Client: Baka ma-flatan ako eh.

Me: Alam mo kailan ka maf-flatan?

Client: Hindi.

Me: Gusto mong ma-flatan gulong?

Client: Syempre hindi!

Me: Kapag na-flatan ka, anong mas gusto mo, may spare tire ka or wala?

Client: Syempre meron.

Me: Parang ganun lang ang insurance. Hindi mo pa gustong mawala. Hindi mo rin gustong magkasakit, ma-disabled, ma-aksidente at ma-confine. Pero kasi hindi natin alam kung kelan yang mga yan mangyayari eh. At kung sakaling mangyari ang isa sa mga yan anong mas gusto mo? Handa ka o Hindi?

‼️REMINDER‼️

I was on the phone with one of my client's mom. The client passed away at 28 y/o. It was heartbreaking to tell her that the client opted not to continue with his policy anymore and it has already lapsed since 2020.

Coverage was supposed to be 2.6M. The client's mom said if she had known, she would be the one to encourage her son about it.
But no one knew this will happen, no one will.

This is one of the many reasons why we, as Financial Advisors are really keen on reminding our clients to PLEASE NOT FORGET why they got their policies and not let them lapse. Life Insurance cannot prevent death, but it can make sure your loved ones can go on living the dream you have for them.
