"OF COURSE YOU DON'T NEED IT!"

That's my reply to someone who says they don't need insurance.
😷 "You're not sick."
😵 "You're not dying."
👵 "You're not retiring today."
🎓 "You're not sending someone off to college today."
📅 "You don't need it TODAY!"
😱 "And that's PRECISELY why you have to get it NOW!"
😀 "It's because you're NOT going to use it NOW!"
😯 "And because you CAN'T get it when you already need it."
🕺 "You're going to use it WHEN THE NEED ARISES!"

Let's plan for college or retirement while we protect your savings from the risks of unforeseen health emergencies or untimely demise.

“COVID-19 Killed Him Before He Signs Our Policy Contract.” -

This is my proposed client since 2018. He was the one who approached me that he wanted to get a plan because he is a breadwinner and he wanted to secure the future of his family especially his baby girl. We met and had a discussion until we found out that he needed : Education for her child, Income Protection ( life insurance ) and Critical Illness.

I provided him a program which was specifically for education. It’s the one which has a contingent benefits which guarantees an education assistance on elementary, high-school, senior high-school and college especially in case of his death or disability, and another program was specifically tailored for men-related illness which has a guaranteed monthly pay-out incase if his death until to a certain age. He really loved the programs and really liked it. He told me that he would wait for his regularization and there he would sign the plan and told me to make a follow up on January 2019.

January 2019, I called him and made a follow up but he told me that he acquired a car and it’s mortgage is quite high because he got it on a shorter period. He said he’s gonna study his budget ( though I know that something is really wrong in his cashflow ). We chat and exchanged messages on messenger until he said that he would start on December 2019 as his birthday gift to himself and Christmas gift to his beloved family.

December 2019, I called him again. He told me that he wouldn’t be available because he had a lot of parties to join then they would spend half of the month to his province. I had my best objection handling that I could, but it was of no use. He definitely lost his interest on the risk management side because he earned well. He said, please make a follow up on January 2020.

January 2020, I called him many times but he didn’t answer. I chat him but he only read my messages, no response at all. I had so many events last January to February 2020 until COVID quarantined us last March.

COVID didn’t just quarantine him, COVID killed him last May 2020 leaving his fulltime housewife and beloved child in pain and in burden. Knowing this, it makes me feel sad, I could be an instrument to his family to continue a life with less burden when it comes to finances. If only I could deliver his monthly pay out check as income replacement and if only deliver his annual education benefit for his child until age 21.

To my fellow Registered Financial Consultants and Financial Advisers, we may feel bad, insulted and belittled sometimes, BUT please always make a follow up to your prospects and also tho those lapsed policies and most specially to our active clients. No matter how bad we feel.

To our prospects, we don’t beg for you to sign a policy contract, BUT I hope you do before our competitors ( death, illness, disability and aging ) will arrive.

For all the young families or parents to be, take a minute to read this. ⬇️

As a parent we always want what’s best for our children, we want what is best for the family. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

The only thing that can provide you a “peace of mind” is financial planning and insurance. ✅

Understand that you need to have that back up plan so that your young family and yourself will be protected from unexpected events.

Our responsibility is to secure a greater future for our children, spouse, parents and even ourselves, with insurance you can definitely achieve that. 🙌🏼

Transfer this risk of Income Protection to an insurance company as your family is too young to carry this risk. 🙏🏼

My client who was able to claim her critical illness rider last 2 years ago mentioned that her 500k claim is not enough.
My oncologist client told me that a chemo treatment
medications would cost minimum of 1.2 to 2M.

¶Insert additional info.. :

°If its aggressive Aggressive Breast Cancer daw, 2M is not enough..
°Lung Cancer minimum of 3M for best treatment..

Do you know how much most doctors allocate for their Insurance (Protection and Critical Illness)?
Minimum of 5M...
Why? Even they can get discounts from the specialist and Hospitals..
They said It’s still not enough...
Because labs and medications are not free...
Hospitals are not free..
And they really know that to get the best treatments,
They will pay for the best medications.

Plan Ahead now...
Let’s Talk....

Repost.

To be honest, I was expecting a spike in insurance claim (be it hospitalization or death) amidst this pandemic but according to PLIA (Phil. Life Insurance Association), there wasn't any.

This, inspite our country having recorded almost 16,000 positive cases already (as of today).

Ibig sabihin? Karamihan sa na-infect ay hindi insured.

This is how underpenetrated Philippines is when it comes to having personal/individual insurance.

This is why, aside from fear, we panic. Because we know we cannot afford to be sick, let alone die untimely.

Kung may magagawa ka naman, by setting aside atleast 100 pesos per day, why go through the panic, fear and paranoia?

Re-think please. 🙏

Before, the face mask was so cheap. Ignoring, no one buys. Last March, I bought 5 pcs for Php 15.00 only. A box of 50 only in Php 200 +.

Ngayong may Covid19 na, a box of 50 pcs can cost Php 600 to P 1,000. But people BUY it kasi they realized na kelangan na nila.

Life Insurance looks like that. Now that we are young and healthy, we will not buy. We won't notice that because we feel that we don't need it.

But sickness, accident and death is just like Covid, unexpected.

What if the time comes when one happens, can you still buy insurance to help you and protect you?

It would be okay if we could still buy even if it's expensive like the masks we need now. So what if it's no longer possible because it's out of stock like a mask, how about you now?

When you realized that you needed it but you were not able to buy at first...

I am not taking advantage of our current situation..

But as a Financial Advisor, it's not because we sell our products for money but it's our noble profession to secure lives.

I tried to encourage people to get insured even before all of these happened, especially friends and family.

As expected, some of them turned my offer down. I admit,I cannot please everyone..
Now, I am saddened to see you panicking for alcohols and sanitizers and not realizing the importance of having insurances.
This is not for me,THIS IS FOR YOU. Get yourself protected!

Let's talk. Let me help you get started. 💚💚💚
