🐖 PCIC-SOGOD PROVINCIAL EXTENSION OFFICE ASF CHECK DISTRIBUTION | MACROHON, SOUTHERN LEYTE

The Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (PCIC) -SOGOD PROVINCIAL EXTENSION OFFICE, successfully conducted the African Swine Fever (ASF) Check Distribution for qualified beneficiaries in Macrohon, Southern Leyte, providing financial assistance to affected livestock raisers.

Special thanks to OMAS–Macrohon, headed by Municipal Agriculturist Evarestro D. Carigara, together with his dedicated team, for their continued support, coordination, and commitment to assisting our farmers and livestock raisers.

The activity was also graced by the presence of Municipal Mayor Hon. Atty. Jerome A. Cortina and Committee on Agriculture Hon. Retchie Jacob G. Madrona, whose support and commitment to the agricultural sector are greatly appreciated.

🤝 Together, we continue to strengthen support and bring meaningful assistance to our farmers and livestock raisers.

The Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation RO8 (PCIC) proudly participated in the Training on Mangrove Ecosystem Protection & Parametric Insurance held at Kuting Reef, Macrohon, Southern Leyte.
The activity provided valuable insights into mangrove conservation and the role of parametric insurance in enhancing climate resilience and protecting coastal communities.

PCIC remains committed to supporting initiatives that promote environmental sustainability, disaster risk reduction, and climate-resilient communities.

The Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (PCIC) informs the public that work-from-home arrangements will be implemented on Friday, March 13, 2026, for officials and employees of the PCIC Head Office and Regional Offices.

This is in compliance with the Office of the President's Memorandum Circular No. 114 which directs all government agencies and instrumentalities to implement energy conservation protocols and flexible work arrangements.

Regular office operations will resume on Monday, March 16, 2026.
