This is to allow Filipinos sufficient time to prepare for and observe All Saints' day (Nov. 1) and All Souls' Day (Nov. 2), collectively known 𝘒𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘨-𝘒𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘨.
